LX-485 is a high-precision lux meter probe with a wide measurement range, which has an RS-485 connection and Modbus protocol for direct and remote illuminance transmission without any accurate loss in the measurement by the wire length.

Direct and continuous transmission of the luxometric level of an installation's outdoor or indoor part to a lighting control system that allows the regulation of light levels to use the electrical energy needed, depending on the lighting levels.

LX-485 lux meter is designed to measure illuminance with a similar curve as the human eye due to its exclusive filter and diffuser. The measurement precision is automatically adjusted according to the scale, which allows a wide measurement range with high precision.

RS-485 connection allows remote data communication placing the probe in the right place without loss of precision in the measurement due to the distance of the connection wire with the control unit.

Modbus protocol is used to transmit the luxometric value without converting the analogue signal and processing the value for its translation into an illuminance measurement.

Its compact design and fastening using a screw and magnet make the set-up easy and quick in the most suitable location.
