LX-GPS

Illuminance measurement system

Illuminance measurement system

Product description

LX-GPS is made up of 1 to 3 luxometric probes with integrated GPS and USB connection and an information management software that allows analyzing the average illuminance and uniformity of an outdoor lighting installation.

Incorporating the LX-GPS into a vehicle allows the illuminance reading of an outdoor lighting installation quickly and efficiently, recording large lighting areas in a single night. Besides, the management software allows you to compare different lighting areas or the same area on different dates and times.

LX-GPS lux meter is designed to measure the illuminance of outdoor lighting, with a similar curve as the human eye due to its filters and exclusive diffuser.

The GPS integration in the lux meter itself eases the accuracy and synchronism in the illuminance measurement's positioning and simplifies its assembly.

The possibility of connecting and registering 3 LX-GPS probes simultaneously allows to do illuminance measurement with a similar method as the RD 1890/2008, Regulation of Energy Efficiency in Outdoor Lighting.

LX-GPS software has tools to ease the task of capturing lighting from a vehicle. In addition to functions for the management, analysis and comparison of measurements made at different times or in different installations.

Features

  • Capture and store illuminance and position measurements of up to three probes automatically and simultaneously.
  • Display during the capture of the measured values (position, speed, distance travelled, illuminance and GPS signal) with an illuminance graph.
  • Alarm system and interruption of measurements due to excessive or low speed and loss of GPS signal.
  • Interpolation of position measurements in areas without GPS signal coverage.
  • Automatic marking of incidents while taking measurements.
  • Measurement management through tasks and projects, which define the characteristics of the area that is needed to be studied and the measurement process.
  • Display and edition of the measurements through:
    • Average, maximum and minimum illuminance values.
    • Mean and extreme uniformity values.
    • Graph of illuminance-distance evolution, for the values of each probe, for all the probes or the average value.
    • Tools for debugging measurements.
    • Comment editor in tables and graphs.
    • Graphical display of predefined reference values.
  • Direct comparison of two tasks by:
    • Overlapping graphics.
    • Differential values of illuminance and uniformities.
  • Export the measurements of a task in DXF, SHP and KMZ format to be able to visualize them and integrate them into other programs.
  • Generation of reports and graphs with a customizable header.
